Rick
Van Vleet
Executive Producer/Producer
Rick Van Vleet has over 25 years experience as a businessman and financier.
A Certified Financial Planner, Rick is the owner of First Financial Center,
Inc. of Fort Collins, Colorado. He also has over 30 years experience in the
entertainment industry, having participated in the financing of several productions
for the Walt Disney Company and TCI Cable. He is the President and CEO of both
MGA Films, a music production and video distribution company, and it's parent
company, MGA Entertainment, Inc. As Executive Producer and Producer of "Waco:
A New Revelation", Rick managed all resources of the project, offering
support to the team throughout production and distribution.
Stephen M. Novak
Executive Producer/Producer
Stephen Novak has been a Sports and Entertainment lawyer over the past 17 years.
He is currently engaged in the private practice of law in Carlsbad, California
and serves as President of Production for MGA Films. Prior to entering private
practice, Stephen served as Senior Counsel for Fox Broadcasting Company and
Fox Sports. He was General Counsel for the Los Angeles Rams during the team's
final six seasons in Anaheim, California. Stephen is a former appointee of
the United States Attorney General as an Assistant United States Attorney,
and served as a federal prosecutor under both the Reagan and Bush administrations.
Prior to entering law, Stephen earned a degree in film at the University of
Texas at Austin. As Executive Producer and Producer, he joins Rick Van Vleet
in managing all resources of the project, offering support to the team throughout
production and distribution.
Jason Van Vleet
Director/Producer
Jason Van Vleet has over 12 years experience as a producer and director. He
is familiar with all technical aspects of film and video production, as well
as marketing and distribution. Jason has performed key creative and production
roles in film and video projects for the Walt Disney Special Events Group,
Disney Educational Productions, United Artists Theaters, Hewlett-Packard Company
and Exxon Corporation. His work has appeared on PBS, TNT and ESPN networks,
in domestic and foreign theaters and in video stores worldwide. He is the Director
and a Producer of "Waco: A New Revelation".
Michael McNulty
Investigative Researcher/Producer
Mike McNulty is Investigative Researcher and Producer of "Waco: A New
Revelation". His previous investigative work about Waco earned him an
Emmy Award and an Academy Award nomination and Best Documentary of the Year
Award from the International Film Association. Mike has in-depth knowledge
of the informational and technical demands of documentary productions. He also
has refined investigative skills and knowledge of law enforcement, developed
as a combat photographer and photojournalist in Vietnam as well as a commercial
insurance professional in civilian life. Mike has served as a public relations
specialist in several political campaigns. Since 1989, he has been the Director
of C.O.P.S. -- Citizens Organization for Public Safety -- a national public
safety group.
